Hey guys, I’ve been training consistently for a couple years now, but always stayed away from steroids. Recently though, I hit a plateau that’s been super frustrating. I’m eating clean, lifting heavy, getting enough sleep, all that — but I just don’t see the same progress I used to. A buddy of mine started taking something, didn’t say what exactly, but he’s looking bigger fast. I don’t want to mess with steroids, though. Anyone here tried safer alternatives that actually help with muscle gains?

Reading this reminds me how different everyone’s progress can look, even with the same routine. I’ve got a couple friends who train together, eat the same meals, and one just grows like crazy while the other struggles to maintain. Genetics really play a big part, but I guess trying different strategies — safely — is part of figuring out what works best for your body.
