Why is it so hard to talk openly about desires?
Sometimes I wonder why it’s easier to talk about money, work, or even politics than it is to just say what I want in bed. I know my partner cares and wouldn’t judge me, but the words just don’t come out. It’s frustrating, because I know open communication would make things better. Has anyone figured out how to get past that block?
Just chiming in here—communication is tricky even outside intimacy. People often hesitate because they’re afraid of being misunderstood or laughed at. It takes practice, but the more you normalize it, the easier it becomes.
